Privacy Policy

1. About This Site & Who We Are

This website is operated by Universal Network Development LLC (doing business as “U.N.D Industries”), a limited liability company. We operate this site as a static front-end hosted on GitHub Pages, backed by Supabase for account authentication, community features, storefront data, and contact message storage. The frontend code runs in your browser; account data, store data, and contact messages are stored on Supabase-managed servers.

Supabase is a third-party infrastructure provider. See the Supabase Privacy Policy for details on how they handle infrastructure-level data.

2. Information We Collect

We do not automatically collect any personal information. The only data stored is data you voluntarily provide:

  • A display name and email address if you register for an account.
  • Your email, subject, and message if you submit the contact form.

Contact form submissions are stored in our Supabase database and are accessible only to site administrators (U.N.D Industries). They are used solely to respond to your inquiry.

3. How and Where Data Is Stored

Account credentials and contact messages are stored in a Supabase Postgres database. This means:

  • Your password is hashed using bcrypt before storage — it is never stored in plaintext.
  • Data is stored on Supabase-managed servers (AWS, US East region by default) and is accessible from any device after you log in.
  • Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensure each user can only access their own data.
  • Contact messages are visible only to site administrators.
  • Authentication and data storage are only active once the backend has been configured. Until then, no data is transmitted or stored by this site.

4. What We Do Not Collect

U.N.D Industries does not collect, use, or integrate any of the following:

  • Behavioral analytics or usage tracking of any kind.
  • Third-party advertising networks or ad-targeting technologies.
  • Third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or similar).
  • Cookies used for tracking, advertising, or persistent session management.
  • Device fingerprinting or browser profiling.
  • IP address logging.

5. Sensitive Data Warning

This site is not a secure data storage platform. You must not enter sensitive personal information, including but not limited to:

  • Passwords used on other services or platforms.
  • Financial information (credit card numbers, bank account details, etc.).
  • Government-issued identification numbers (Social Security, passport, driver's licence, etc.).
  • Medical or health information.
  • Any information you consider private or confidential.

U.N.D Industries is not responsible for any consequences arising from a user entering sensitive data on this site contrary to this warning.

6. Your Control & Data Deletion

Because account data and contact messages are stored in a Supabase-managed database, you may request deletion by contacting us directly. To request removal of your account or any submitted contact message:

  • Email contact.undindustries@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your account.
  • Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within a reasonable time.

The Supabase client may also store a session token in your browser's localStorage to maintain your login state. You can clear this at any time through your browser's site data settings (Settings → Privacy → Site Data or similar), which will sign you out locally.

7. Data Sharing

U.N.D Industries does not sell, rent, or trade your data. Account credentials and contact form submissions are transmitted to and stored by Supabase, which acts solely as our infrastructure provider. Supabase does not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing database services to this site. No data is shared with any other third party.

8. External Links

This site contains links to third-party platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, BandLab, Instagram, and TikTok. These are independently operated services with their own privacy policies and data practices.

U.N.D Industries has no control over, and accepts no responsibility for, the privacy practices or content of any third-party service. Clicking a link to a third-party platform means leaving this site and entering a service governed by that platform's own terms and privacy policy.

9. Data Collection Modes

Logged-in users can choose their data collection mode from the dashboard. There are two options:

  • Standard (default): Only the data you actively submit is stored — your account credentials, display name, and any contact messages you send. Nothing is collected passively. This is the default for all accounts.
  • Advanced: Your preference is recorded and will enable optional personalization features as they become available on this platform. Advanced mode does not activate any third-party trackers, analytics services, or advertising networks now or in the future. The only difference from Standard is that your preference is stored and future optional features may use it.

Your mode is stored in your account profile in the Supabase database. You can change it at any time from your dashboard. Switching back to Standard removes any opt-in status immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

U.N.D Industries may update this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available at this page (/privacy.html). Continued use of the site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
